Our passion for telling stories through photography & videography

Our New Zealand based family-owned wedding photography and videography business.

“I feel privileged to be able to photograph a couple's wedding, capturing intimate moments of their special day which they will cherish for years to come.”

Our lead photographer Thomas

My name is Thomas. I was born in Tauranga, New Zealand, and at the age of nine, I moved with my parents to Christchurch. My dad, Alan Brydon, was originally from Scotland. He moved to New Zealand in his twenties and married an amazing Kiwi girl who is my mother, Anne Brydon.

I want to share more about him as it is a way to honor his name. We shared the same passion. He was my first, and the best photography professor and mentor you could ask for.

He built a dark room in our laundry because photography was a passion of his, and as a curious boy I wanted to know why he would lock himself in a cupboard for hours. I then realised how the photos were processed and the magic that happened in the dark room and I was instantly drawn by the art of photography. He then taught me as much as he knew, before encouraging me to study photography. I went on to gain my diploma in professional photography.

We travelled the world capturing the best stories and enjoying wonderful sceneries until he lost his battle with cancer a few years ago. For me, doing photography was our common passion where we would bounce ideas and techniques off each other on a daily basis although we didn’t always live in the same city. In this way I still feel close to him.

After travelling the world and capturing stunning landscapes I started assisting an award-winning NZIPP photographer in Christchurch, and after serveral years assiting and second shooting I turned my unique perspective to my own Wedding Photography business. This passion for nature shines through in beautiful images which often incorporates the landscape of a client’s wedding venue with the couple.

Three years ago I married my beautiful wife. She is from Colombia and I knew she was the one since the day I met her. We have a daughter, almost 2 years old, who shows us every moment what unconditional love means.

I take this opportunity to thank you for sparing a moment and reading my story. If you have finished reading this, I believe we should have a coffee. You will find in me an authentic and quirky photographer who would go above and beyond to get the best shots for you and your loved ones.

Our lead videographer Andres

Andres was born in Colombia, so flair and passion are in his blood, cinematography was the perfect outlet for his creative skills. He studied for his Bachelor in Visual Arts in Bogota, honing the abilities he would need to capture stories on film, through careful compositions and editing. He takes care of the whole process of script development, storyboarding, filming and editing. Capturing attention and holding it while he unveils your story.

When it comes to capturing your wedding story he loves to capture all the ups and downs of the as seen in our porfolio. He takes a different method by getting to know the couple so they are comfortable with us long before the wedding day comes. By doing this we can capture the genuine feelings of the day. Its more than just cutting a song to the footage it finding the right fix this is why it is like creating art these processes can’t be rushed. He will finesse the movie over the next 4-8 weeks getting just right.

“LOVE LOVE LOVE our engagement photos. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer Tom is your guy. He photographed our wedding in November. He listened to exactly what we wanted and he was with us all day. He went above and beyond and the outcome is beautiful. We love our wedding photos and can’t wait to do some more photos with him.”
